Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4G will be released very soon: the platform will debut in Huawei Mate 50

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4G SoC will have the same specs as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G, minus the 5G modem. The platform will receive one ARM Cortex-X2 core clocked at up to 3 GHz and three high-performance Cortex-A710-based cores clocked at up to 2.5 GHz. In addition, it is expected to have four power-saving cores based on the ARM Cortex-A510 architecture with a clock speed of up to 1.8 GHz. All cores will have access to a shared 6MB L3 cache. According to Qualcomm, the processor part is 20% faster and 30% less energy compared to the Snapdragon 888 Plus. The platform has an integrated Adreno 730 GPU, which provides a 30% increase in graphics compared to Adreno 660.

It is reported that Huawei will use this platform. Presumably, Huawei Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro will be built on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4G.
