Turbo is really bigger than Pro. Redmi Note 12 Turbo will receive 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of flash memory

Xiaomi is promoting its upcoming Redmi Note 12 Turbo smartphone in China under the slogan “Turbo more than Pro” – hinting that it will surpass the Redmi Note 12 Pro in terms of performance. Indeed, Turbo will be better both in terms of performance and memory.
The new teaser says that the top version of Redmi Note 12 Turbo will have as much as 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of flash memory. It is clear that we are not talking about the fastest memory (at least it won’t get the latest UFS 4.0), but the volumes are decent: not every flagship (including Xiaomi itself) has such options. As for performance, as shown by the real test Snapdragon 7 Gen 2, on which the Redmi Note 12 Turbo is built, is able to score more than 1,000,000 points in AnTuTu.
Another teaser, also released today, says that Redmi Note 12 Turbo will keep the speed and smoothness of the interface for 4 years! Previously, Xiaomi basically guaranteed this for 3 years, now the period has been increased to 4. It also talks about an “ultra-low software failure rate” of 0.005%.
The official premiere of Redmi Note 12 Turbo will take place next week, March 28.

Geely introduced a new car brand designed to carry passengers

Geely has announced the launch of a new Cao Cao Automobile brand. The first car will be presented on March 29, it is known that it will be called Cao Cao 60.
Geely already operates its Cao Cao Mobility-branded taxi division, which competes with Didi (China’s alternative to Uber), has 150 million users and is aiming for an IPO in 2023.
The new automotive brand Geely will focus on the production of vehicles designed to carry passengers. Previously, Cao Cao Mobility used electric vehicles from Ruilan Auto and the Geely Geometry brand. It was mainly a Geometry A sedan with a range of 600 km and a Ruilan Maple 80V minivan (by Ruilan Auto) supporting battery swap. The agreement between Ruilan and Cao Cao was signed in April 2022. Ruilan Auto is a joint venture between Lifan and Geely. It is an automaker currently focusing on electric vehicles with replaceable batteries.
In September last year, it was reported that Cao Cao Mobility and Geely’s self-driving driving division began a collaboration on a robotic taxi project to build a self-driving platform.
Geely Holding owns many brands, including Lotus, Volvo, Zeekr, Lynk&Co and many more. A month ago, Geely announced another series called Galaxy, which will release seven new models in the next two years.
