Huawei has introduced its new smartwatch for the international market – Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro.

Recall that the model debuted in China at the end of April. And now the launch for Europe and other regions of the world has taken place. In the UK, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is priced at £300 and £430 for the Titanium and Ceramic versions. Sales will begin on May 30 and June 8, respectively.

The watch in the Titanium Edition version is equipped with a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, is enclosed in a titanium case with sapphire crystal and a ceramic back cover, battery life is up to 14 days. The Ceramic Edition version received a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen, a ceramic case and sapphire crystal, and a battery life of up to 7 days.

Five navigation systems are supported – GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS. Wireless charging is possible, the manufacturer promises to recharge by 25% in just 10 minutes. The software basis of the watch is HarmonyOS. It supports music playback control on a smartphone, camera, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi. There is water protection (IP68, 5 ATM).

The watch is capable of tracking a variety of health related parameters including heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), respiration, stress levels and menstrual cycle. Removing an electrocardiogram is possible by pressing a special button on the case. In total, more than a hundred sports modes are supported.

It is quite possible that this is due to the announcement of the Watch Ultra model, which, in general, is quite different from the usual versions, and is positioned differently.

At the same time, we know from the report that sales of wearable and home electronics in the last quarter at Apple decreased slightly. Unfortunately, Apple does not speak separately about watch sales – it is quite possible that sales have just grown in this segment.

Also recall that last year Apple took 85% of all profits in the smartphone market.
