Details about the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G smartphone have repeatedly surfaced on the Web, and now the date of the official premiere of the novelty has finally become known. It will debut on September 28 at noon and will premiere in India local time.

Samsung calls the Galaxy M52 5G its thinnest and most evil monster – the battery life monster. The teaser indicates the thickness of the model – 7.4 mm. Rumors attribute a 5000mAh battery to this model, and if so, it will truly be one of the thinnest smartphones in its class with a battery of this capacity. For comparison, the Galaxy A52 5G is 8.4mm thick with a 4500mAh battery.

Galaxy M52 5G features 6.7-inch Full HD + AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC with 8GB RAM and 128GB flash memory, 32MP front camera and 64, 12 and 5MP main camera, Android 11 with One UI 3.1 and 15W charging.

The whitest paint in the world just got better Now

The unique white paint, created by scientists at Purdue University, was recognized in the Guinness Book of Records in 2022. The unique composition is able to keep the surface cool, reducing the need for air conditioning.

Now researchers at Purdue University have developed a new compound that is thinner and lighter, ideal for removing heat from not only cars but other vehicles, including trains and planes.

“Everyone has contacted me, from spacecraft manufacturers to architects to clothing and footwear companies,” said Xiulin Zhuang, professor of mechanical engineering and paint developer at Purdue University. “They basically had two questions: where can I buy it and can I make the layer thinner?”

The unique paint uses barium sulfate nanoparticles that can reflect 98.1% of sunlight, as well as cool outdoor surfaces by more than 4.5 degrees Celsius relative to the environment. However, for the coating to work effectively, its thickness had to be at least 400 microns.

Scientists experimented with other materials that could scatter sunlight. The latest paint formula includes hexagonal boron nitride as a pigment. This substance is most often used in lubricants. The resulting composition is able to meet all the declared parameters and reflect up to 97.9% of sunlight when applied in a layer with a thickness of 150 microns

ASML has almost a monopoly in the market for lithographic equipment for the production of semiconductors. And now the Japanese manufacturer Canon intends to compete with it. A plant for the production of new lithographic equipment will be built in Japan. The estimated investment will amount to $345 million, and production will start in the spring of 2025.

It is important to note that for the production there will use a technology called nanoprinting lithography. It eliminates the need for EUV lithography (deep ultraviolet lithography), which requires a lot of energy and is expensive. EUV lithography machines only produce ASML.

Canon’s new technology will reduce the cost of production due to the fact that nanoprinted lithography can reduce production costs by up to 40% and energy consumption by up to 90%.

Note that the technology of nanoprinted lithography was developed more than 10 years ago, it allows you to create schemes for 10 nanometers with a potential reduction to 2-3 nanometers. However, implementation issues forced the market to switch to EUV lithography. If the technology can prove its worth, this can lead to a significant reduction in the cost of microelectronics.

Earlier it was reported that the US authorities require ASML Holding NV not to supply equipment for the production of chips to China.

Electronic Arts and developers EA Motive have released a gameplay trailer for the Dead Space remake, which is based on the Frostbite engine and will bring improved gameplay.

According to the plot, the events of Dead Space unfold on board the Ishimura ship. Engineer Isaac Clark is confronted by Necromorphs – the dead crew members of the Ishimura, resurrected and turned into monsters.

Definitely one of the best remakes of the decade

The video, which lasts more than two minutes, is full of gameplay elements: battles with necromorphs, exploration of the Ishimura, scenes in weightlessness.
