The Samsung Galaxy A Quantum smartphone, announced back in May 2020, originally ran One UI 2 based on Android 10. Now it has received an update to the Android 12 operating system.

The update has firmware version A716SKSU4DVC2 and comes with the March 2022 Android security patch, but it’s not yet clear if users are getting the One UI 4.0 or One UI 4.1 skin.

Samsung's first

Samsung Galaxy A Quantum is positioned as the world’s first smartphone with a quantum security solution. Galaxy A Quantum is equipped with a quantum random number generator (Quantum Random Number Generator, QRNG) developed by the Swiss ID Quantique. Galaxy A Quantum users will be able to use “quantum encryption” in services that require identification and certification, including mobile payments

The Galaxy A Quantum smartphone is equipped with an Exynos 980 single-chip system and a 6.7-inch Full HD + Super AMOLED screen with an embedded 32 MP front camera, as well as a fingerprint scanner built under the screen.

The phone received 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory, a 4500 mAh battery, and a quad camera with a 64 megapixel main image sensor.

The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) has published a press release on the satisfaction of Americans with certain brands and devices. In this document, we are most interested in smartphones.

And here the leader was the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. It could be said that this is unexpected, since in the US Samsung is still about half behind Apple in sales, but in fact a year earlier, the Samsung device was also in the lead in a similar list, and two years ago the company’s smartphones occupied all the first three places.

Be that as it may, the flagship of 2020 became the leader, which at the time of release was scolded for various shortcomings and features. Unexpectedly, LG Aristo 3, unknown outside the US, took second place. Moreover, this is a budget smartphone in 2019 on the SoC Snapdragon 425! How he even got on the leaderboard is completely unclear. Closes the top three iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Also on the leaderboard are HTC U12+, Pixel 4 and iPhone XR. In general, the list turned out to be as diverse as possible.

If we talk about brands, here Samsung and Apple share the first line of the rating with 80 points each. The top five also includes Google, Motorola and LG.

The photo allows you to compare the dimensions of all

A photo of covers allegedly intended for Apple’s new generation smartphones has appeared on the Web. The authenticity of the image cannot be verified, but in general everything looks plausible.

The two larger cases are for iPhone 14 Max and 14 Pro Max. The other two are made for the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro.

The difference in camera cutouts indicates that the lower models are likely to retain the two-sensor configuration, while the older ones will get three. At the same time, if we compare these cases with cases for current models, it becomes clear that the dimensions of the camera blocks will grow again, which allows us to hope for even better photos and videos. Recall that numerous rumors suggest that the older smartphones of the new generation will receive new 48-megapixel image sensors for the main cameras.
