Rumors that Samsung will unveil its new flagship smartphones with flexible screens in July or August have been around for a long time, but now we have a specific date for the summer Unpacked event – it will take place on August 3rd.
This date was recorded in a post by the well-known insider Max Weinbach on Twitter. The tweet is encrypted and can be translated as follows: “2 threes will be issued on August 3, as well as 2 fours”.

In the comments, users quickly figured out what it was about: since an insider often leaks data about new Samsung devices, it is most likely about the new products of the Korean company, besides, the beginning of August is the traditional time for the big Unpacked event. Two threes are Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3, and fours, respectively, smart watches Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch Active 4. However, it is possible that Galaxy Buds 2 wireless headphones will also be presented on this day – more frequent leaks about them, too, indicate a fairly early announcement.
Almost simultaneously with Weinbach, another insider, John Prosser, called the timing of the appearance of new products on sale, because usually it takes more than one week from the date of the announcement to the appearance of devices on store shelves. So, according to Prosser’s sources, in which he is confident, the Galaxy Watch 4 will go on sale on August 11 – 8 days after the announcement. But the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will have to wait – they will only appear on sale on August 27th.

Nothing Phone (1) will receive a FullHD + OLED screen with support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will be built on the basis of a Snapdragon 778G + single-chip system. The main camera will be equipped with image sensors with a resolution of 50 and 16 megapixels, the front camera will be 16 megapixels. The battery capacity will be 4500 mAh, it will support 45-watt charging.
The smartphone will run on the Android 12 operating system with the Nothing OS shell and proprietary Glyph Interface installed.
