Samsung will save its most advanced screens for the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. Younger novelties will receive screens based on older materials
Samsung will be the main supplier of OLED panels for iPhone 14 smartphones. Samsung will supply displays for all models in the line, while LG, as the second supplier, will supply screens for only two models. At the same time, Samsung screens for the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus (or 14 Max) will be different from the screens for the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, and we are not talking about resolution and frequency at all.
The point is that screens for younger models will simply be conditionally worse. To be more precise, Samsung will not use its newest set of materials in their production – only the older models of the new Apple line will get them. The source is even more specific: the younger new iPhones will receive screens created using the M11 set, while older screens will use the newer M12 set. A set refers to various materials: dopants, primers, bases, and so on. Such a move would allow Samsung (and Apple?) to save money.
It can also be noted that the M12 set is used to produce screens for the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4. The M11 kit was used to create displays for the Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra, while the regular S22 received a screen that was created using the M10 kit.
LG, in turn, will use its latest RS-L kit to create displays for the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 clamshell smartphone was shown on a high-quality render in three days of announcement

Insider Roland Quandt has posted a new image of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 on Twitter. The image appears to be official, but the phone will not be released until three days later.
Insiders have repeatedly noted that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in terms of design is not much different from the current generation model. They don’t expect a revolution in terms of technical parameters either – the main innovation will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, but the camera sensors, apparently, will remain 12-megapixel. However, it is expected that the battery capacity will increase to 3700 mAh.
Roland Quandt is a well-known informant. Previously, he completely declassified the GoPro 9 Black and GoPro 10 Black action cameras before their announcement, and also named their exact cost.

The frame is narrower, but the camera protrudes much more. iPhone 14 Pro compared with iPhone 13 Pro live

The official premiere of the iPhone 14 smartphones will take place in September, and a comparison of the current iPhone 13 Pro and the promising iPhone 14 Pro has already been published on the Web. And the comparison is live.
Usually, production of a new generation of iPhone starts in early summer, so theoretically these photos could be a production iPhone 14 Pro, although it is more likely that this is a prototype or even a mock-up. Be that as it may, in terms of dimensions and layout, it should not differ from the retail version.
The photo clearly shows how different the front cameras and screen cutouts are in the current and future models. The screen bezel on the iPhone 14 Pro is also smaller. The main camera block in the iPhone 14 Pro is larger than the similar block in the iPhone 13 Pro, and the lenses protrude more out of the body.
In the new lineup, only the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are expected to receive the Apple A16 SoC. Also, the Pro versions are credited with a 48-megapixel module in a block with an ultra-wide-angle lens and support for 8K video recording.

Published screenshots of the scandalous spyware Pegasus, which is used to hack the iPhone and Android smartphones

The Israeli company NSO Group’s Pegasus software has been talked about a lot for a long time, but only a few have had to work with it. Now you can see what it is and how it is organized – screenshots of Pegasus leaked to the Web.
As you can see, the top panel is represented by shortcuts for accessing various smartphone services: contacts, geolocation data, camera photos, microphone recordings. One of the screenshots demonstrates the ability to remotely turn on the microphone, and the other has a “Take a picture” button using the camera. Thus, the user of a hacked smartphone may not even have a clue that wiretapping is being carried out through his phone and video or photo surveillance is being conducted. The software also provides access to correspondence in instant messengers and allows you to execute various commands on your mobile device. With Pegasus, you can hack not only Android smartphones, but also iPhones. However, not all Apple phones are hackable.
The NSO Group says it provides “technology to empowered governments to help them fight terrorism and crime” and claims to be sensitive to human rights. However, in 2021, a scandal erupted: the media published data according to which authoritarian regimes use Pegasus to hack into the phones of human rights activists, opposition journalists and lawyers. Pegasus is also used against politicians: there is evidence that about 600 government officials from 34 countries are among the victims of Pegasus.
