Samsung will definitely not use the ancient platform for the Galaxy A24 4G. The novelty lit up in the benchmark
So, the Samsung Galaxy A24 4G will definitely not be based on the ancient Exynos 7904 SoC, as some rumors have claimed.
After indirect indications of this have appeared, we have direct ones. In the Geekbench database, this device lit up with a clearly different platform. The software does not detect it, but talks about eight cores, frequencies and the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. If we supplement these data with the results of the benchmark, it turns out that, most likely, the new Samsung will receive SoC MediaTek Helio G99.
Formally, this is a relatively fresh platform, introduced less than a year ago. In fact, this is almost a copy of the Helio G96, but on a more recent technical process. Either way, the platform scores 560 and 1941 on single and multi-threaded Geekbench respectively, as well as about 380,000 on AnTuTu 9. In comparison, the Galaxy A23 4G is powered by the Snapdragon 680, which scores about 270,000. That is, the increase in the transition to a new generation will be very noticeable, at least in benchmarks.

“Why are they called Galaxy? Because of the astronomical prices.” OnePlus trolls Samsung over Galaxy S23 flagships

Almost immediately after Samsung unveiled its latest flagships, the Galaxy S23, in the US, OnePlus’ US office posted a thread on Twitter mocking the Galaxy S23. There are many jokes, some of them really witty.
“Why are they called Galaxy? Due to astronomical prices”, – this is how OnePlus noted the increased cost of the Galaxy S23 in a number of countries. True, in the US and Canada, prices remained at the level of the Galaxy S22.
“I use a 200 megapixel camera to find the charger in the box”, is another actual joke from OnePlus. The fact is that the Galaxy S23 package looks not just ascetic, but poor: in addition to the phone, it only has a cable and a paper clip.
