Xiaomi founder Lei Jun will hold a press conference this week to showcase many new products, including Redmi K50 Extreme Edition, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, Xiaomi Tablet 5 Pro with a 12.4-inch screen. In addition, the new Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro headset was announced today and will be shown at the same event.

Judging by the official image, the headphones have an in-ear design and a gold color scheme. It is reported that this flagship model will receive a noise reduction system and a surround sound system.

Back in May, it was leaked that the Redmi Buds 4 Pro would support up to 43dB of noise cancellation, the headphones would get a wind noise reduction mode, ultra-low latency of 59ms, and offer 36 hours of battery life.

The presentation of new products is expected on August 11.

Introduced in July this year, the Nothing Phone (1) smartphone was quite actively discussed on the Web because of its original design and backlight. However, early adopters immediately began reporting screen problems and lagging LED strips.

Now it turned out that buyers of Nothing Phone (1) were deceived by information about the maximum brightness of the screen. According to official data, the maximum brightness of the Nothing Phone (1) screen is 1200 cd/m²but in almost all tests, the maximum screen brightness is less than 700 cd / m². Last week, Xiaomi officially announced the top flagship smartphone Redmi K50 Extreme Edition, which appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking site with model number 22081212C.

According to Geekbench, the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC and 12GB of RAM. It scored 1339 points in single-core mode and 4389 points in multi-core mode. In comparison, the Geekbench score for the new Realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition smartphone also equipped with Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 is 1296 and 4211 respectively. It previously scored 1,120,691 on the popular benchmark app AnTuTu, beating out Asus ROG Phone 6 and Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

Redmi CEO Lu Weibing stressed that it will be the most powerful smartphone in the history of the brand, as well as “a perfect masterpiece that combines all the advanced technologies of Redmi.”

It is expected that the smartphone will receive a 1080p flat screen with support for 120 Hz – the same as the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. Redmi K50 Ultra will come with 120W fast charging support.

The presentation of the smartphone is expected on August 11, along with the huge Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro and the foldable Xiaomi Mix Fold 2.
