Samsung is moving Samsung Galaxy S21 FE from Snapdragon to Exynos

The problem of the lack of microcircuits is only getting worse every day, many manufacturers are faced with the impossibility of ordering the necessary components that are simply not available in warehouses.

Even though Samsung is one of the chip makers as well as the largest smartphone maker, the company has also been hit hard by chip shortages. Due to the global shortage of semiconductor products, the company has repeatedly postponed the release of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone. Now Samsung is planning to use its own Exynos SoCs to deal with the shortage.

It is reported that Samsung will sell a version of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone based on the Snapdragon 888 SoC in the US, while Exynos SoCs will be used in other markets.

According to the latest data, Samsung plans to release the Galaxy S21 FE in the fourth quarter of this year. This phone was originally slated to debut in August 2021.

The smartphone has already passed FCC certification, which has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will support two Samsung chargers: EP-TA800 (25W) and EP-TA845 (45W), but neither will be included in contents of delivery.
