Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung Space Tycoon virtual playground in the Roblox game.
Space Tycoon is a virtual space where users can create and play games and share experiences using Samsung Electronics products along with alien characters in space using design and functionality from the tycoon business simulation genre.
Samsung says it created this platform for Generation Z to provide them with an integrated metaverse where they can create and enjoy their own Samsung products. Samsung’s goal is to enable Generation Z customers to experience the brand and interact with each other.
Space Tycoon is intended to be a playground where many customers can experience the unlimited possibilities of virtual space. We wanted to give our Gen Z customers the opportunity to experience Samsung products in a way they’ve never done before. We will continue to showcase content that can provide a more meaningful and engaging digital experience for both our current and future customers.
Space Tycoon is located on the Samsung space station, where alien characters are conducting research on the products of the Korean giant. There are three game zones: a resource extraction zone, a store for buying in-game items, and a laboratory for creating new products. Users have the opportunity to design new Samsung devices, from smartphones to home appliances. There is also the option to turn existing Samsung devices into something new. For example, turn your smartphone into a bag or a scooter.

Introduced in July this year, the Nothing Phone (1) smartphone was quite actively discussed on the Web because of its original design and backlight. However, early adopters immediately began reporting screen problems and lagging LED strips.
Now it turned out that buyers of Nothing Phone (1) were deceived by information about the maximum brightness of the screen. According to official data, the maximum brightness of the Nothing Phone (1) screen is 1200 cd/m2but in almost all tests, the maximum screen brightness is less than 700 cd / m2. In some tests, it does not even rise to 650 cd / m2.
In response, Nothing Phone (1) stated that it would conduct an internal investigation. In addition, the company has changed the peak brightness on the official website settings page from 1200 nits to 700 cd/m.2.
Last week, Xiaomi officially announced the top flagship smartphone Redmi K50 Extreme Edition, which appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking site with model number 22081212C.
According to Geekbench, the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC and 12GB of RAM. It scored 1339 points in single-core mode and 4389 points in multi-core mode. In comparison, the Geekbench score for the new Realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition smartphone also equipped with Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 is 1296 and 4211 respectively. It previously scored 1,120,691 on the popular benchmark app AnTuTu, beating out Asus ROG Phone 6 and Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
Redmi CEO Lu Weibing stressed that it will be the most powerful smartphone in the history of the brand, as well as “a perfect masterpiece that combines all the advanced technologies of Redmi.”
It is expected that the smartphone will receive a 1080p flat screen with support for 120 Hz – the same as the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. Redmi K50 Ultra will come with 120W fast charging support.
The presentation of the smartphone is expected on August 11, along with the huge Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro and the foldable Xiaomi Mix Fold 2.
