More and more smartphones with flexible displays appear on the market. The other day, the South Korean electronic giant Samsung announced in the Chinese market a new foldable device called W21 5G. In many respects, the new product is identical to the model Galaxy Z Fold 2, presented in early August, but there are a number of changes, both at the hardware level and in terms of design.

The electronic circuit of the gadget is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ single-chip system, made according to the 7-nm process technology. The novelty is equipped with 12 GB of LPDDR5 “RAM” and a built-in 512 GB UFS 3.1 flash drive, which is twice as much as in the Galaxy Z Fold 2. In addition, the Galaxy W21 5G lacks an eSIM module, which is replaced with a second slot for a standard SIM. cards.

The device is equipped with a flexible 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen panel, providing a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. Also, the device is equipped with a 6.2-inch external display made using Super AMOLED technology. This screen has a resolution of HD +.

The body of the flagship is made in an exclusive golden color, the back panel is decorated with a pattern in the form of vertical stripes. The main camera is inherited from the Galaxy Z Fold 2: its design contains three optical modules with the same 12 MP resolution.

A 4500 mAh battery is responsible for powering the gadget, supporting 25W fast wired charging and 11W wireless charging. Also of note is the presence of AKG stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound enhancement system.

Initially, the new flexible-screen flagship will be available on Chinese marketplaces on November 20. It can be purchased for $ 3,000. The timing of the arrival of new items in other regions has not yet been reported.
