Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra may come out earlier than expected

Production of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has already begun, according to a new report. In other words, the next-generation flagship of the South Korean manufacturer may arrive earlier than expected. This is reported by the Gizmochina website with a link to an insider.

It is reported that serial production of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has already begun. There is no confirmation yet if this is in the mass production stage or just the first batch of test devices. The PhoneArena website notes that this might just be making prototypes for testing.

A previous leak indicated that the company plans to release the Galaxy S21 series a month and a half earlier to offset lower-than-expected sales of the Galaxy S20 series. According to recent rumors, Samsung may merge its flagship S and Note lines to simplify its smartphone lineup and focus on the Galaxy Z series of foldable devices.

The early launch of the Galaxy S21 is said to be an attempt to take advantage of Huawei’s current predicament and fill a gap in the market. It is reported that Samsung’s flagship smartphone lineup could launch in January 2021 or even late December 2020. Unannounced devices are likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100 processors depending on the region.
