The main camera of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone has a professional mode, which works when using only the main module and the ultra-wide angle camera. Now there is a useful application that expands the capabilities of telephoto lenses.

The South Korean company has released Expert Raw on the Galaxy Store in South Korea. This app allows you to activate Pro Mode with all Galaxy S21 Ultra camera modules. We are talking about the main camera, ultra wide-angle, as well as telephoto lenses with 3x and 10x optical zoom.

Using the app, you have complete control over exposure, focus, ISO, shutter speed, and white balance. You can also adjust contrast, highlights, shadows, saturation. You even get a histogram to check if areas in the frame are correctly exposed.

Expert RAW supports HDR and can save images in Lossless JPEG and 16-bit linear DNG RAW formats. You can directly open DNG RAW files in the Adobe Lightroom app (using a dedicated button on the image viewer screen) to edit. The application will allow you to shoot images with less noise, increased sharpness, more detail and a wider dynamic range.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max performed great, but still fell short of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The autonomy of the novelty is slightly lower

Considering that the iPhone 13 Pro Max easily put any flagship of last year on the shoulder blades, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is unlikely to disappoint anyone with its autonomy.

If you look at the results in more detail, then there is some noticeable difference just in points for autonomy: 151 points for the new model versus 156 points for the previous model. In more familiar terms, this is 2 days 17 hours and 2 days 20 hours of work in the source test. At the same time, the devices are charged almost identically.

Google expects excellent sales of Pixel 7 smartphones

The search giant has reportedly ordered 8 million new-generation devices and expects to double sales of new models relative to the Pixel 6 line.

At the same time, we recall that just the other day we learned that in six years Google has sold only 27.6 million Pixel smartphones. That is, the company intends to sell almost 30% of the total number of smartphones sold over six years only for older Pixel 7 devices.

It is also reported that the company has ordered 4 million lower class models, i.e. Pixel 7a models. In total, it turns out 12 million smartphones per year, or almost 45% of the total number of smartphones sold in six years.

We’ll find out how Google’s forecasts come true in about a year, but we can recall that at one time the models of the Pixel 6 line showed a multiple increase in sales relative to their predecessors.

Are Huawei flagships disappearing from the global market? The company has removed P50 smartphones from the range of global models, but not everywhere yet

However, the situation is not yet completely clear. Initially, the information was shared by a German thematic resource, and then it was repeated by many others. But the fact is that all models of the P50 line really disappeared from the German Huawei website, however, they are on the Huawei websites of some other European regions.

There are no official comments from Huawei itself, and therefore it is impossible to form a final picture. Perhaps Huawei has begun the process of withdrawing flagship devices from the global market, but it’s just that the changes have not yet been introduced on all regional sites.
