Ross Young, founder of research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, said the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone is slated to go into production in July this year.

He also said that the smartphone can be offered in four colors – gray, light green, light purple and white. All four of these color options will be available for purchase in the US.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition should have a FullHD + flat screen and a plastic back. The main camera block looks different due to the fact that it is made of the same plastic as the back panel. Thanks to this, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition can be immediately distinguished from the regular Samsung Galaxy S21.

The novelty will correspond to the degree of protection IP68, that is, it will be dust and moisture resistant. The smartphone will receive a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The developers will install a 32-megapixel image sensor in the front camera, while the Galaxy S21 and S21 + have a 10-megapixel sensor. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition should be built on the Exynos 2100 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 in different regions of the world. The smartphone will receive 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of flash memory.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected to launch at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked launch event likely to take place on August 19th.
