Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 Specifications Revealed

The Gizmochina portal, referring to the German site WinFuture, revealed almost all the characteristics of the Samsung Galaxy S21 and Samsung Galaxy S21 + smartphones. Previously, the network also published the parameters of the flagship model Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Galaxy S21 will be equipped with a 6.2-inch Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The maximum brightness is 1300 nits. The display is protected from damage by Gorilla Glass 7. The only difference between the Galaxy S21 + panel is the 6.7-inch diagonal. The back of the Galaxy S21 is plastic, while the back of the Galaxy S21 + is glass.

The hardware base of smartphones will be the Exynos 2100 or Snapdragon 888 chipsets. Which ones depend on the region. The amount of RAM will be 8 GB, the storage capacity – 128 or 256 GB. You can expand the available space using a microSD card. The Galaxy S21 has a 4000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S21 + has a 4800 mAh battery. The selfie cameras of the Galaxy S21 and S21 + are the same – at 10 megapixels. The main cameras are triple – with sensors of 64 Mp (f / 2.0), 12 Mp (f / 2.2) and 12 Mp (f / 1.8).

The dimensions of the Galaxy S21 are 151.7×71.2×7.9 mm, the weight is 171 g. The Galaxy S21 + is larger – 161.4×75.6×7.8 mm, it weighs 202 g. The gadgets run on the Android 11 operating system with a proprietary add-on One UI 3.1. Support for Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6 is declared, there is an NFC module for contactless payments, a 5G modem and a USB-C port.

The official presentation of all smartphones will take place on January 14th. On this day, we will be shown the Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S21 + and the top-end Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
