Samsung Galaxy S20, S21 and Z Fold2 receive May Android security patch

South Korean company Samsung has begun rolling out the May Android security update for its Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Z Fold2 series smartphones.

In addition to improved security, the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Z Fold2 series have received improvements in their cameras and quick sharing functionality. The update is currently available for European smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphones received the firmware number G98xBXXU3AUDA, which is just under 1GB in size. The update for the Z Fold2 comes with build number F916BXXU1DUDA and is around 493MB in size.

The Galaxy S21 series received the 395MB update G98xxXXU7DUDB which contains only stability improvements and the latest security patches.
