Samsung Electronics has traditionally updated the page in the support section dedicated to the cycle of releasing updates for its smartphones. This time around, significant changes have been made to models such as the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Note FE.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 smartphone (review) debuted in June 2018. And now it will stop receiving monthly security updates. Users will have to settle for updates once a quarter.

The Galaxy Note Fan Edition (Note FE) debuted a year earlier – in July 2017. It is a reincarnation of the Note 7 (review) with a smaller battery.
