Samsung for the first time showed a camera hidden under the screen and the first to get it not smartphones

Samsung has demonstrated for the first time its under-screen camera technology, where the camera is placed under the display and is not visible to the “naked” eye.

Such technologies are being developed by several smartphone manufacturers. However, only one such smartphone has appeared on store shelves at the moment – ZTE Axon 20 5G.
This allows you to get rid of all sorts of cutouts, holes, modules with retractable cameras, and other tricks so that the user can use the maximum screen area and make the screen as large as possible without increasing the size of the device.
A new video, published by Samsung Display, shows the technology at work in the Korean manufacturer’s version.
However, there is a nuance – the demonstration is not done on a smartphone, but on a laptop with an OLED screen. Apparently, Samsung decided to first practice on laptops and only then move on to smartphones.
