Samsung confirms the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition is not fiction

We have already reported on several occasions that the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition, also known as Galaxy S20 Lite, is preparing for release. Now this information has been confirmed by the South Korean giant himself.

In the Bulgarian section of the Samsung website, a mention of the Galaxy S20 FE smartphones has appeared. As you can easily understand, FE symbols stand for Fan Edition.

Samsung confirms the preparation of two versions of the new product – Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S20 FE 5G. The first will be content with 4G / LTE support, while the second will be able to operate in fifth generation (5G) mobile networks.

If you believe the available information, the new devices will receive an Infinity-O display with a diagonal of 6.4-6.5, FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There will be a 32-megapixel selfie camera in the front, and a triple camera in the configuration of 12 + 12 + 8 million pixels at the back.


The devices are credited with the presence of a Snapdragon 865 processor, at least 6 GB of RAM, a flash drive with a volume of 128 GB or more, and a 4500 mAh battery.

Smartphones will go on sale with the Android 10 operating system, supplemented by the proprietary add-on One UI 2.5. Market launch is expected in October.
