The top-end Huawei Mate 60 Pro has 1 TB of flash memory, but the amount of RAM is small for a modern flagship – only 12 GB. Yesterday, photographic evidence appeared that the Mate 60 Pro software platform is based on Android 12. However, this fact, as well as the relatively low amount of RAM, is unlikely to affect the popularity of this model in China.

Xiaomi announced changes in the work schedule on new versions of MIUI firmware for quite a large number of its smartphones.

Xiaomi will no longer develop MIUI for Redmi Note 11T Pro, Redmi Note 11T Pro+, Xiaomi 11, Xiaomi 11 Pro and Redmi K40S

Work on new beta versions of MIUI for Xiaomi 11, Xiaomi 11 Pro, Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Redmi K40S, Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+ has completely stopped since September 22. This does not mean that the firmware of user smartphones will not be updated, but new functions will no longer be introduced into them. In about a year, software support for these models will end.

Also from today, Xiaomi has stopped working on beta versions of MIUI for the latest Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, Redmi K60 Pro and Redmi K60, but this is a temporary phenomenon: work will resume after transferring current beta versions to Android 14.

3 billion views per day like all newspaper articles in

Billionaire Elon Musk said long-form posts on Platform X (Twitter) now have 3 billion views per day. In the next message, the richest man in the world said that this number corresponds to the number of views of all newspaper articles on Earth.

Twitter Blue subscribers already have the ability to post messages of 10,000 characters, far exceeding the 280 character limit for non-Blue subscribers.

According to an old tweet from Musk, with this feature users can publish “very long, complex articles” and even “publish a book if they want.”

This move could help deter other writers who want more exposure for articles that would otherwise be posted on their blogs or perhaps on competing X sites.

Elon Musk said this week that social network X/Twitter is “moving to a low monthly fee” to combat “huge armies of bots.”

Musk bought the platform for $44 billion last October and has made several changes since then.

Telegram launched Stories for channels as well as many other

In order for a channel to receive the right to publish “Stories,” it is required to collect a certain number of votes from readers. Only users of a paid Telegram Premium subscription can vote. Moreover, the Telegram Premium subscription provides one vote, which the user can give to one channel. Users can transfer their voice to another channel once a day.

The more votes a channel has, the higher its level, and each new level allows you to publish 1 additional story per day for all subscribers. The voting system is called “Boosts”.

Channels can collect votes using special links like t.me/durov?boost. You can find a link to vote for your channel and see how many votes are left until the next level on the channel page > “More” > “Statistics” > “Votes”.
