Earlier it was expected that the line of flagship smartphones will be presented almost in September this year, but at the Huawei developers conference last week the device was not shown. Smartphones will not be released in October either, when Huawei usually releases new smartphones of this series.
Well-established insider Evan Blass, who is the first to publish official renders of new smartphones long before their presentation, claims that those wishing to try out the Huawei Mate 40 will not be able to do so in the current calendar year.
According to the network informant, the appearance of smartphones in stores will take place only next year, while the official announcement should take place before the end of 2020.
The insider did not specify, perhaps we are talking about a global launch, and in China, new items may appear this year. Let’s wait for the official information to appear.
Last week, it became known that Huawei has cut orders for components for the Mate 40 smartphones by 30%.
