Rugged tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 will receive Exynos 9810 chip, 13-megapixel camera and 8" display

As you know, Samsung is preparing to release the rugged Galaxy Tab Active 3 tablet, which will replace the Galaxy Tab Active 2 model shown in the images. The SamMobile resource has unveiled the detailed specifications of the upcoming novelty.

The equipment of the gadget will include a proprietary processor Exynos 9810. This chip combines eight computing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.9 GHz and a Mali G72MP18 graphics controller. Some computer modifications will get a cellular modem.

It is said about the presence of 4 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 64 or 128 GB. Power will be provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 5050 mAh with recharge via a symmetrical USB Type-C port.

The display size is 8.0 inches diagonally, the resolution is 1920 × 1200 pixels. There will be a 5-megapixel camera in front and a 13-megapixel camera in the back. Users will be able to interact with the screen with their fingers and through the S Pen.

 

The tablet will be made in accordance with IP68 and MIL-STD 810 standards, which means protection from moisture and dust, shock, drops and temperature changes. Dimensions and weight are indicated – 213.8 x 126.8 x 9.9 mm and 429 g.

Among other things, a fingerprint scanner, an NFC controller, a Bluetooth 5.0 adapter and a 3.5mm headphone jack are mentioned. The novelty will ship with Android 10 operating system.
