Ripple will help Montenegro create a national stablecoin
Dr. Dritan Abazovic, Prime Minister of Montenegro, who took office on April 28, 2022, announced his meeting with Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, and James Wallis, Vice President Ripple on interaction with central banks and CBDC, on the sidelines of the economic forum in Davos.
Following the meeting, the Prime Minister announced that the parties had launched a pilot project to create the first digital currency or stablecoin for Montenegro.
“We talked about the development of a payment infrastructure that would provide greater financial inclusion and inclusiveness,” Abazovich wrote.
Ripple is a payment network that was established back in 2012 and is powered by the XRP Ledger network. Transfers and settlements in it are carried out using the native cryptocurrency – XRP.
The Ripple project is aimed primarily at financial institutions and is intended to be an alternative to existing interbank transaction systems such as SWIFT.
According to Ripple.com, Ripple labs provides commercial services to hundreds of companies in over 50 countries. Notable clients include Australia’s National Australia Bank (NAB), Canada’s Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), Japanese financial giant SBI Holdings and the National Bank of Egypt (NBE). As of October 2021, RippleNet alone had over 300 financial institutions.

In the Large Hadron Collider for the first time managed to register the most elusive elementary particle

CERN scientists have announced that they have detected neutrinos from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) for the first time.
A new discovery was made after the transition to the Run 3 phase last summer, when, after a three-year break for the modernization of the installation, it was brought to a maximum energy level of 13.6 TeV.
Neutrinos, born directly in the LHC, were detected by the FASER detector, which is designed to search for light and extremely weak interactions. Recall that neutrinos are particles that interact extremely weakly with matter, which makes them extremely difficult to detect. Every second, more than 10eleven neutrino.
Scientists have been able to detect neutrinos for a long time, but for this they use special massive detectors placed deep underground. At the LHC, this particle was detected for the first time. Experts note that the mechanism of formation of neutrinos in the LHC, as well as their center of mass energy, is the same as that of very high-energy neutrinos formed during collisions of cosmic rays with the atmosphere.

New Toyota Mirai 2023 unveiled

Toyota has unveiled the new 2023 Toyota Mirai, which is largely unchanged from last year’s model, but now comes equipped with the Toyota Audio Multimedia package.
Toyota Multimedia Audio Suite is gradually appearing in new Toyota models. Users can interact with the system via a 12.3-inch touch screen and voice commands, while Connected Service Drive Connect gives you access to cloud navigation and a smart assistant. You can access it by saying Hey Toyota, then search for specific locations on the map, control the climate control system, and control playback with your voice.
The updated hydrogen fuel cell vehicle supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity and offers a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot that can serve up to five mobile devices simultaneously. Customers receive a three-month subscription to the SiriusXM online radio service.
The car received a forward collision warning system with pedestrian detection, a lane departure warning system, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control and the ability to recognize traffic signs.
Both variants of the 2023 Mirai are powered by a 184kW electric motor paired with a 1.24kWh battery pack and three hydrogen tanks. Toyota claims that the base XLE version offers a range of 647 km. The drive is rear.
The 2023 Toyota Mirai is on offer in the US starting at $50,525. The Limited Edition costs $67,025. Buyers get the opportunity to refuel hydrogen tanks for a total of $15,000.

The cheapest video card with 16 GB of memory, and even with a unique cooler. Acer Predator BiFrost Arc A770 sells for $340

Another Intel video card has become cheaper. This time we are talking about the most expensive offer in the company’s line – Arc A770 with 16 GB of memory. Such an Acer-made card sells for $340.
Before the price reduction, the card was asking for $400. It is worth recalling that the A770 is available in two versions: with 8 and 16 GB. The first has already become cheaper, and sometimes up to 270 dollars. The second fell in price for the first time.
The Acer Predator BiFrost Arc A770 adapter stands out for its unique cooling system with one regular fan and one centripetal fan. This is currently the cheapest 3D card with 16 GB of memory on the market.
