Revealed information about the most affordable 5G-smartphone Samsung Galaxy A42

Last month, the South Korean brand announced a budget 5G smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy A42. And now we publish its technical characteristics.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset became the main for the most inexpensive smartphone with support for 5G network. The chipset consists of two Kryo 570 Gold (Cortex-A77) 2.2 GHz cores, six Kryo 570 Silver (Cortex-A55) 1.8 GHz cores, and an Andreo 619 GPU.

The processor is supplemented with 4/6/8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage (it can be expanded up to 1 TB using microSD memory cards).

The main camera is located in a square module and consists of four sensors: the main 48 MP, ultra wide-angle 8 MP, a 5 MP depth sensor and a 5 MP macro lens. There is an LED flash under the main camera module. The front camera has a resolution of 20 megapixels.

Autonomous operation is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with support for 15 W fast charging.

To display information, the Samsung Galaxy A42 received a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with HD + resolution. A fingerprint sensor is installed under the screen.

The smartphone will hit the market in three colors: Prism Dot Black, Prism Dot White and Prism Dot Gray.
