Removal of certain parts of games will be available on Xbox Series

Uninstallation of certain portions of games will be available on Xbox Series consoles. Jason Ronald, Xbox Head of Software, spoke about it in the October Xbox Podcast.

For example, players will be able to delete a single and leave only the multiplayer part of the game, thereby freeing up disk space. And it will not be enough – the SSD on the Series S will be 512 GB, and on the Series X – 1 TB. At the same time, about 803 GB will be available on the older version of the system for installing games. You can expand the memory using branded memory cards, but they are expensive.

The chip with the removal of parts of the games will be available on both models of the new Xbox. It is true only if the developers integrate such a feature into their game. On the PlayStation 5, it will also be possible to delete certain parts of the games – previously, the architect of the console, Mark Cerny, told about this.

Earlier, journalists from Western publications shared their first impressions of the Xbox Series X.
