Finnish studio y Entertainment has announced that it is already developing a sequel to the action game Control. The project was previously held under the name Heron. But now its development is confirmed.

The game is reportedly being developed in collaboration with 505 Games, which created the first game in the series. So far, everything is at the concept stage. Control 2 is expected to release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Almost nothing is reported about the game itself. It is only known that the project will be created on the proprietary Northlight engine. The games Quantum Break and Control are created on it. In the future, it will also be used for Alan Wake 2 and the Max Payne re-release. Also published the first concept art, which can be seen below.

US consumers spent a record $9.12 billion online during Black Friday this year, according to Adobe, which tracks sales on retailer websites.

Total online sales the day after Thanksgiving rose 2.3% year-on-year, with electronics the biggest contributor, with online sales up 221% over the past year. Another popular category among buyers were games, which saw a 285% increase in sales, and exercise equipment, which saw a 218% increase in sales.

Buy Now, Pay Later payments are up 78% from last week and revenue from the program is up. Some of this year’s hottest merchandise included gaming consoles, drones, Apple MacBooks, Dyson products, and games like Fortnite, Roblox, Bluey, Funko Pop! and Disney Encanto.

Even though Black Friday is over, e-commerce activity will remain strong over the weekend, according to an Adobe report. $11.2 billion is expected to be spent this year on Cyber ​​Monday, up 5.1% from last year.
