Over the past month, there have been many rumors and leaks on the web about a smartphone codenamed Realme Koi, which will presumably hit the market as the Realme V15. In the new teasers of the company, this information is confirmed, as well as the date of the presentation of the new product – January 7th. The model owes its code name to the koi carp, which symbolizes good luck in China.

The novelty will receive an effective gradient, which is known from numerous leaks. Live photos and renderings of the novelty can be viewed here and here.

“V” series of the company is known for its affordable price, for which it is very popular. According to one of the leaks, the novelty will receive the Snapdragon 888 platform and may become the new flagship of Realme before the release of Realme Race. Other whistleblowers report the MediaTek Dimensity 800U platform.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra vs iPhone 14 Pro Max in

Despite the fact that there are still two weeks before the start of sales of Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphones, full reviews of the camera of the older novelty have already been published on the Web. The author of the famous SuperSaf channel compared the Galaxy S23 Ultra camera with the iPhone 14 Pro Max camera.

Unfortunately, although the comparison is voluminous, it is far from being as informative as it happens on some other channels. However, there is still a lot of information.

As you can see, in low light, the brainchild of Samsung shows a wider dynamic range and detail. This is true for all cameras, including the ultra wide and tele cameras. But when shooting video at night, everything is not so clear. At least the Korean smartphone has a lot more noise and slower autofocus.

Of course, Samsung easily wins in the comparison of cameras, because it has two of them at once. Already at 10x zoom, the difference is very noticeable, and the iPhone cannot offer more than 15x at all.

Cinematic Mode on the iPhone clearly looks better, in addition, we can note a fairly significant difference in color reproduction, both in the photo and in the video.

Android devices that support the standard UVC (USB video class) mode will be able to stream the video stream, while all software processing will be done at the system level, that is, external applications such as Camo or DroidCam will not be required.

It is not yet clear whether this feature will be available to all smartphones with Android 14 or only the branded Pixel. If, nevertheless, the company decides not to make the feature exclusive, then all smartphones and tablets will receive support for this feature.

Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphones may differ in speed versions with

As it became known, the versions of the Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphone equipped with 128 and 256 GB of flash memory differ in the type of this very memory.

The 128GB version uses slower UFS 3.1 memory. The 256GB version of the Galaxy S23 uses the new UFS 4.0 memory. In both cases, new LPDDR5X RAM is installed.

Allegedly, the base version may be slower in various scenarios than the 256GB version of the Galaxy S23. UFS 3.1 has a sequential read speed of 2100 Mbps and a sequential write speed of 1200 Mbps, while UFS 4.0 has a sequential read speed of 4200 Mbps and a sequential write speed of 2800 Mbps.

There is evidence that Samsung does not produce 128 GB UFS 4.0 memory chips. Only Kioxia makes 128GB UFS 4.0 memory, but even those don’t reach the required speeds. Therefore, Samsung decided to use UFS 3.1 flash memory for the lower version.

Samsung is offering a free upgrade for those who pre-order the Galaxy S23 series in many countries. For example, if you order the 128 GB version, you can get the 256 GB version.
