Realme GT5 Pro with advanced telephoto module can already be ordered in China

The new Realme GT5 Pro smartphone is now available for pre-order and will go on sale on December 7 in China.

Realme previously announced a telephoto lens module that will be featured in the new Realme GT5 Pro smartphone. Realme GT5 Pro will receive a flagship periscope telephoto lens with a Sony IMX890 image sensor with a resolution of 50 MP, F/2.6 aperture. The module supports 3x optical zoom, electronic and optical image stabilization. Realme calls it the “most expensive telephoto lens in the industry.”

According to the official description, this telephoto lens is also the “smallest periscope telephoto lens in the industry” and supports 4-in-1 multi-pixel fusion technology for the main camera, which can provide “ultra-large amounts of light” and highlight details in dark areas. Apart from the 3x optical zoom on the telephoto lens, the Realme GT5 Pro supports 120x digital zoom.

Realme GT5 Pro is rumored to have the world’s first BOE-tuned flagship screen with 1.5K resolution and peak brightness of over 3000 cd/m2. Moreover, this new phone will be equipped with a 5400 mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging.
