According to MacRumors, citing an insider who provided accurate data on Dynamic Island in the iPhone 14 Pro, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models get a customizable button, like the Apple Watch Ultra.

The source claims that the Action button will replace the sound mode switch that has been on every iPhone model since 2007. Details on how the feature works are yet to be known, but it is understood that this button will allow users to quickly access various features. In particular, they mention launching the camera, taking a screenshot or video recording of the screen, flashlight, Shazam, launching the application library, activating low power mode, and so on.

Most of these features can already be controlled using back taps, an accessibility feature introduced in iOS 14. Back Tap lets you double or triple tap the back of your iPhone to trigger a specific action, like turn the flashlight on and off or take a screenshot.

We also learned that this button will continue to work for a certain period of time after the iPhone’s battery is depleted due to the use of a new low-power chip.

In addition to this button, the iPhone 15 Pro will receive a general volume rocker. Both buttons will be touch-sensitive and solid-state, meaning they won’t move when pressed.

Realme unveiled the latest Realme 11 Pro line of smartphones on May 10 in its home market in China, and the global premiere is now in preparation. Insider Sudhanshu Ambhore has become aware of the prices for global versions of smartphones, and they do not look overpriced, as is often the case when the Chinese model goes beyond the borders of the country.

For example, the base Realme 11 Pro+ with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will cost $330, while the top one with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of flash will cost $370. For comparison, in China, the base Realme 11 Pro+ costs $290 (although it has 12 GB of RAM, not 8 GB), and the price of the 12/512 GB version is $320. That is, prices will be higher than in China, but not by much.

The insider also announced the cost of the global Realme 11 Pro: 8/128 GB – $ 290, 8/256 GB – $ 310.

Motorola isn’t even close to being the market leader in foldable smartphones, but its Razr models have proven to be a big draw for iPhone owners.

They are giving up the iPhone. Motorola reveals 20% of Razr foldable smartphone buyers are ex-iPhone owners

In an interview with CNet, Allison Yi, head of Motorola’s North American product division, said that of all Motorola’s products, the foldable Razr is the most popular among iPhone owners.

This is definitely the family we have the most iPhone users moving to.

It turns out that 20% of Razr buyers are former owners of Apple smartphones. They are probably attracted by the fresh form factor in which the iPhone is not presented and probably will not be presented for a long time. At the same time, we must remember that we are talking about North America, where, in addition to the Razr, only the Samsung Flip is in this form factor.

Motorola recently unveiled its new foldable smartphones, including the revolutionary cheap (in China) Moto Razr 40, but in the US, only the older Razr Plus (called the Moto Razr 40 Ultra in China) will sell for $1,000.
