Razer, a popular manufacturer of gaming peripherals, hosted the online event RazerCon 2020, which unveiled its first gaming chair called Iskur, a redesigned laptop, and other hardware and software innovations.
Externally, the Iskur looks like other racing-style counterparts with the company’s traditional color accents. But the way this chair provides lumbar support is a little different from the rest. Sitting for a long time is harmful, no matter which chair or chair the user chooses. In any case, you need to take breaks, leave the table and warm up a little. However, it is possible to significantly reduce the strain on the lumbar region with a good chair that provides effective lumbar support. Razer’s approach to this problem is that the Iskur has a curved support in the lower back of the chair, thus achieving a neutral spine position and avoiding slouching. The user has the ability to adjust the curve of the pillow, providing an optimal position during hours of gaming battles.
Iskur comes with 4D Armrests that can be adjusted in four directions. The chair is made of multi-layered artificial leather, and the basis of the back cushion is made of very dense foam rubber. The set also includes a headrest, which is made of memory foam. The manufacturer claims that it provides an optimal field of view when gaming. The chair is suitable for people from 170 to 190 cm tall and weighing up to 136 kg.
The Razer Iskur is already available for pre-order on the manufacturer’s website for $ 499. A little later, the chair will also appear at retailers.
Razer Blade Stealth 13
The updated model of the gaming ultrabook is built on a quad-core Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor. This is the 11th generation of Tiger Lake chips, which are manufactured using a 10nm process technology. To the already existing version of the laptop with a 120 Hz screen, the manufacturer added an option with a touchscreen OLED display with a frequency of 60 Hz, Full HD resolution, 100 percent DCI-P3 color space coverage and higher contrast.
The graphics component and other characteristics remain the same. As in its predecessor, it has a GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics card with 4GB of memory, 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD. The new Razer Blade Stealth 13 will go on sale in late October starting at $ 1,800. The OLED version will cost $ 2,000.
Razer Seiren Mini
The Seiren Mini is a relatively small desktop microphone designed for gaming broadcasts, vlogging, or video calling. The device records sound at a narrower angle thanks to its supercardioid radiation pattern, which can significantly reduce ambient noise. In addition, the device is equipped with a shock-resistant mount that dampens vibrations.
The Seiren Mini is already available for $ 50. Three color options are available: Classic Black, Quartz Pink and Mercury White.
Other Razer novelties presented include the Kraken Kitty Edition wireless headphones with headband ears, Chroma RGB lighting and Bluetooth 5.0 support, as well as Tomahawk computer cases in ATX and Mini-ATX form factors. The cost of the headphones is $ 150, while the cases are $ 180 (Mini-ATX) and 200 (ATX).
In addition to new devices, the company introduced Razer Cortex software, which is designed to optimize games and systems for better performance. The program also provides information on all game discounts, giveaways and vouchers on Steam, GOG, Battle.net, Origin and other partner stores of the company. The Razer Cortex can be downloaded on PCs and mobile devices running Android and iOS.
