Razer has unveiled the BlackWidow V3 mechanical gaming keyboard. According to the manufacturer, this is a worthy continuation of the line opened in 2010 by the “standard” in the form of BlackWidow. The new model uses improved switches and keycaps, made of double injection molded ABS plastic. Other highlights include Razer Chroma RGB lighting, multimedia keys and a palm rest.
Customers are offered options with Razer Green Switches with audible click and Razer Yellow Linear Silent Switches. The latter are now equipped with silicone mufflers for additional noise reduction. The switches are rated at 80 million clicks. Both types of switches received new transparent housings, which increased the brightness of the backlight.
New to the BlackWidow V3 is a multi-functional digital video clip. Together with a set of multimedia keys, it can be used to adjust volume, play, pause and skip commands. Using Razer Synapse 3 software, the movie can be reprogrammed to perform other functions, such as scrolling through pages or controlling the backlight.
The BlackWidow V3 body is made of aluminum. The USB interface is used for connection. The polling rate is 1000 Hz. All keys are programmable. It is possible to work with macros, including recording on the fly.
The Razer BlackWidow V3 mechanical gaming keyboard is priced at $ 140 by the manufacturer.
