We are talking about the memory frequency, which, according to GPU-Z, will be 14 GHz, not 16 GHz, as was previously thought. With a 128-bit bus, this will provide a bandwidth of 224 Gbps.
Whether this will mean good memory overclocking potential is not yet clear, but we can hope for it. Still, the memory of the same RX 6600 XT works exactly at 16 GHz, and the memory itself for the cards may well be the same.
Recall that the adapter will also receive 1792 stream processors and will perform on a par with the GeForce RTX 3060. At the same time, the memory frequency of the Nvidia adapter is slightly higher (15 GHz), and the memory itself is much larger (12 GB).

Its configuration includes 14 cores, which are capable of executing up to 20 threads simultaneously. The base frequency of the Core i9-12900H processor is 2.9 GHz.
The processor has the highest performance of any known mobile processor released this year, including Intel Tiger Lake-H45, AMD Zen3 Mobile, and even the Apple M1 Max. Intel’s Alder Lake-P mobile processor series is expected to be unveiled alongside Arc Alchemist graphics cards, possibly at CES 2022.

New data on the Intel Core i5-12600K processor of the Alder Lake family has appeared on the web. The CPU was tested in the CPU-Z benchmark in two states: standard and overclocked. And even at nominal frequencies, this processor turned out to be faster than the top model of the Rocket Lake-S line – Core i9-11900K.
The unclocked Core i5-12600K scores 746 points in a single-threaded test and 7058 points in a multi-threaded one. The overclocked performance is, of course, even higher – about 790 and 7200 points, respectively. It turns out that even in the base, the Core i5-12600K is faster than the current flagship Core i9-11900K – it has 682 and 6563 points, respectively.
Also, the Core i5-12600K is much faster than the Ryzen 5 5600X – by 19.5% in a single-threaded test and by 46.7% in a multi-threaded one. However, this raises the question – why is the 10-core Intel CPU compared to the 6-core AMD CPU? Nevertheless, such a comparison is quite acceptable, because, according to preliminary data, the cost of the Core i5-12600K will be at the level of the Ryzen 5 5600X. And this is where AMD and its most popular Ryzen 5000 processor line can be hit hard.

Rumors about this model have been around for a long time, the characteristics are known, but now it is on sale and, finally, the price has become known.
The Nvidia CMP 170HX has appeared in the Vipera online store catalog and is being offered for an impressive $ 4,300. And we are not talking about single sales – there are about 230 video cards in stock.
Despite the high cost, the CMP 170HX definitely makes sense. Firstly, the video card provides a large hash rate – 164 MH / s. Even the GeForce RTX 3090 is not capable of this. This is due to the fact that the CMP 170HX has 8 GB of HBM2e memory at 1458 MHz with a 4096-bit bus. The memory bandwidth is 1.493 TB / s. Secondly, power consumption is lower than that of the same GeForce RTX 3090 – TDP is 250 W (additional power is supplied through one eight-pin connector). So the CMP 170HX is more efficient at mining than the RTX 3090, but it also costs about $ 1,000 more.
The CMP 170HX does not have video outputs and is not intended for gaming, but miners are not interested in the game. But the fact that the video card is accompanied by a 1 year warranty is interesting. It was previously stated that Nvidia CMP 3D cards have a limited warranty of only three months. But here either an exception was made for the CMP 170HX, or Nvidia revised its warranty policy, or the seller assumes an additional 9 months of warranty. In any case, a year of warranty for a purely mining video card, which will definitely overclock and work at the same time in 24/7 mode, is strong.
