The Radeon RX 6500 XT will go on sale on January 19th. With a recommended price of $200/Euro, we have already seen that the first price tags are significantly higher, although even with a markup, the card is still the most affordable among all AMD and Nvidia solutions of the current generation. But perhaps the price situation for the new Radeon will be better.

The source says that retail prices for the RX 6500 XT will be close to recommended immediately after the launch and probably after it. How much is unclear, but if the average markup in Europe for cards in this segment is about 50%, then it turns out that prices should be significantly lower than 300 euros. There may be several reasons for this situation. Firstly, AMD will allegedly be able to put on the market a record number of cards for the current line, which in itself can allow prices to be reduced. Secondly, such adapters are completely uninteresting to miners due to 4 GB of memory and a narrow bus.

As a result, it is the RX 6500 XT that can be the very salvation for a huge number of gamers who could not afford a video card for $600 and more. In addition, according to AMD itself, even with modest specifications, the RX 6500 XT should be able to handle any modern game in Full HD.

Sharkoon introduced the TG7M RGB case. The 48.5 x 22.0 x 48.8 cm chassis holds a mini-ITX, microATX, ATX, or E-ATX motherboard, up to seven expansion cards up to 38 cm long, up to two 3.5″ drives, and up to four 2.5″ drives. The maximum allowable height of the processor cooling system is 17.2 cm, the length of the power supply is 22.0 cm.

The side panel of the case is made of tempered glass. There are three 120mm addressable RGB fans behind the front panel. The fourth one is fixed on the back panel. The speed of their rotation can be changed using PWM. The top panel can accommodate three 120mm fans or two 140mm fans. In versions with LSS, a radiator up to 360 mm long can be mounted on the front or top panel.

The list of I/O connectors on the side of the top panel includes a USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen2) connector and two USB-A connectors for USB 3.0 ports, as well as headphone and microphone jacks.

The case costs 109 euros.

The 250 GB variant delivers 1200 MB/s sequential write speeds and up to 150,000 read IOPS and 300,000 write IOPS random access performance. The 500 GB variant achieves a sequential write speed of up to 2300 MB/s and a maximum random access performance of 300,000 read IOPS and 350,000 write IOPS. Finally, the 1 TB variant is capable of sequential write transfers of up to 3,000 MB/s, and its performance reaches 400,000 and 450,000 IOPS in read and write mode, respectively.

A 250 GB SSD resource is declared equal to 150 TBW, a 500 GB SSD is 300 TBW, and a 1 TB SSD is 600 TBW. The drives come with a three-year warranty. The manufacturer does not name prices.

According to them, AMD, Intel and Nvidia are going to raise their prices by up to 20%! This applies to CPU and GPU. The companies want to raise prices due to increased production costs, and this primarily concerns solutions that are manufactured using 7 nm and 5 nm technical processes.

It’s all about TSMC. It has already raised the prices of its products, and it has long been a contract manufacturer for AMD and Nvidia, but TSMC will also make Intel GPUs.

As a result, prices should rise for all upcoming AMD processors and GPUs, all next-generation Nvidia GPUs and upcoming Intel GPUs, although it is not entirely correct to talk about price increases for something that will only appear in its first generation. Apparently, this does not apply to Intel processors, but the company may well do the same just to make more money.
