Qualcomm’s new flagship chipset may be called Snapdragon 888
According to well-known insider Ishan Agarwal, the next flagship chipset from Qualcomm may be called Snapdragon 888 5G, and not Snapdragon 875, as previously thought.

The official presentation of the Snapdragon 888 5G should take place today at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit Digital 2020 (will be held on the Hawaiian island of Maui).
The first smartphones based on this SoC will appear in early 2021. According to rumors, several models from leading Chinese manufacturers are waiting for us at once. The very first gadget with this chip may be a flagship under the Realme brand. It will be released in the Realme X or Realme Ace lineup.
Snapdragon 888 is a 5nm 8-core chipset (1 x 2.84 GHz Cortex-X1, 3 x 2.42 GHz Cortex-A78 and 4 x 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) with graphics Adreno 660.
