Protected tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 will be released in a version with support for 5G

We have already reported that Samsung is preparing to release a new rugged tablet – the Galaxy Tab Active 3. Now information about this computer has appeared on the website of the Wi-Fi Alliance.

Three modifications of the device are being prepared for release – with the code designations SM-T570, SM-T575 and SM-T577. As it became known, the base model SM-T570 will only offer support for wireless Wi-Fi. The SM-T575 variant will be able to operate on 4G / LTE mobile networks. Finally, the older version, SM-T577, will be able to boast support for fifth generation (5G) cellular networks.

All tablet modifications will receive a Bluetooth 5.0 controller. But compatibility with Wi-Fi 802.11ax, or Wi-Fi 6, it seems, will not be implemented. This means that the new product will be limited to support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac.

It is noted that the Android 10 operating system will be installed on the devices, supplemented by the proprietary One UI 2.x add-on. The price, according to observers, will be at least $ 500.

The novelty, like the model of the previous generation Galaxy Tab Active 2 (shown), will be enclosed in a protected case. Users will be able to interact with the gadget using a special pen.
