Yesterday, CAD renderings of the new Apple Watch Pro smartwatch hit the Web, and now it’s the turn of more images.
Let’s clarify right away that these images were created on the basis of the same CAD documents, therefore, even if the latter are correct, the design of the watch may be somewhat different in the details.
As you can see, almost the main feature of the new watch is a block with a wheel and a button. Both of these elements are on all previous Apple watches, but they are executed differently. Probably, such a block is needed in order to protect the wheel from physical impacts, because the new model is expected to be positioned as a secure solution, including for fans of extreme sports.
Because of this, apparently, the watch will receive a screen with a flat glass that is somewhat recessed into the case – so it will be more difficult to break it.
Also on the left side will be a new button, which supposedly will be fully programmable.
Watch Pro, recall, should get a screen with a diagonal of 1.99 inches, that is, they will be much larger than the younger models.
Apple Watch may have Touch ID – it is described by a new patent
In 2017, a patent appeared on the web that described the Touch ID system in the Apple Watch. He never got to the level of finished technology, but it seems that the company has not forgotten about it. According to media reports, a new patent on the same topic was recently discovered on the net. He describes Touch ID as a kind of “new touch device.”
Judging by the published images, the fingerprint scanner can be placed in the side button. Judging by the same patent, the recognition system will be much smaller than in the iPhone and iPad, which will fit the fingerprint scanner and other data into the watch.
Note that the presence of a patent does not always mean the emergence of a finished technology. A commercial solution to the 2017 patent application has not emerged. However, it is possible that biometric identification will still appear in the Apple Watch.
Earlier it was reported that the first Apple Watch Ultra has already been unpacked and compared with 45 mm Apple Watch
1.78″ AMOLED screen, 105 training modes, up to 10 days of autonomy. OnePlus Nord Watch details and renderings
OnePlus is rumored to be launching the low-cost OnePlus Nord Watch smartwatch as early as next week. Like it or not, we will soon find out, but the source turned out to have quite high-quality renders of the device, as well as details about the technical characteristics.
Judging by these pictures, OnePlus is not going to copy the Apple Watch, however, the design does not show much novelty either. The device will receive a fairly large AMOLED display with a diagonal of 1.78 inches and a frame rate of 60 Hz.
The OnePlus Nord Watch interface demonstrates the presence of SpO2 and heart rate sensors, as well as a stress monitoring system. Surely they will be able to track the quality of sleep. It is also reported that there are 105 training modes, support for Bluetooth 5.2 wireless communication. Autonomy will be 10 days – in active mode, and in standby mode – up to 30 days. The cost has not yet been named, but everything shows that these watches will not be expensive.
