PowerColor Unveils Radeon RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 Graphics Cards

PowerColor showcased its first Radeon RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 graphics cards. Models have reference design and specifications. Similar graphics adapters have already been presented by ASRock and Gigabyte.

It is not known from the available images whether the manufacturer will use any distinctive details in the graphics card design. As a reminder, Gigabyte reference cards will have a corresponding logo on the side panel, as mentioned here. This element was not found on renders of ASRock models. Apparently, PowerColor will go the same way.

Recall that a few days ago the company teased the Radeon RX 6800 XT Red Devil video card with a spectacular design and factory overclocking, but so far there is no new information about this series.

As in other cases, PowerColor Radeon RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 will differ in the height of the cooler, the frequency of the GPU and the number of computational units.

The PowerColor Radeon RX 6800 XT will take 2.5 slots, has 4608 stream processors on board, and a GPU frequency of up to 2250 MHz in Boost mode. The PowerColor RX 6800 is thinner and occupies 2 slots with 3840 stream processors and a maximum frequency of 2105 MHz. Both options require additional power supply via 2 8-pin connectors.

PowerColor is one of the most popular manufacturers of AMD video cards, so the range of offers will surely expand after the new models go on sale. This event is expected on November 18th. In the meantime, you can study the reviews and the lineup of the company’s video cards presented in the DNS store by clicking on this link.
