Power reserve of 200 km in 5 minutes of charging and immediate access to the global market: Xpeng G9 large crossover on the way
The source says that pre-sales of the new Xpeng G9 electric crossover will begin in April at the Beijing Auto Show, with deliveries starting in the third quarter of 2022.
The flagship crossover Xpeng G9 will be built on the new X-EEA 3.0 platform, it will receive the Xpilot 4.0 unmanned driving system with multiple laser rangefinders. But its key feature will be the XPower 3.0 fast battery charging system, which will support charging at 480 kW. This will allow you to replenish the power reserve for 200 km in 5 minutes.
Previously, spy shots of the G9 interior got onto the Web. The car received a digital instrument panel and a large main screen of an unknown diagonal. Xpeng G9 is expected to compete with Nio ES6, Li One and Tesla Model Y.
The manufacturer said that this is the first Xpeng model, originally designed for both Chinese and international markets. It is worth noting that the first country (outside China) where the company’s cars appeared was Norway.
In January, the company increased sales by 115% and sold 12,922 vehicles. At the moment, the company is modernizing its plant, planning to produce up to 20 thousand cars every month.
Some sources say that sales will begin in October, but other Chinese media say that the car may appear as early as August this year.

Honda showed its first electric crossover Prologue. But it will only be released in 2024.

Honda, like many other Japanese brands, is far behind its European competitors when it comes to electrifying their cars. The company already has a Honda e, and now the manufacturer has unveiled its first electric crossover, the Prologue. True, the car will enter the market only in 2024.
Whatever it was, so far we have only one official image. The crossover on it is not very similar to the current Honda models. The source says that Prologue is a joint development of the Japanese giant and GM, but no details yet. It is likely that the Prologue and some General Motors electric cars will have a common platform.
Honda plans to introduce 30 new electric vehicle models by 2030 and expects sales of 2 million units. After launching the Prologue in 2024, Honda plans to begin production of new electric vehicles based on its e:Architecture architecture in 2026, and in 2027 it will have affordable electric vehicles also co-developed with GM.

“I will vote Republican.” Musk lashes out at Democrats over Tesla’s exclusion from S&P 500 ESG index

Tesla was excluded from the S&P 500 ESG at the beginning of the month, but most people only knew about it now that Elon Musk decided to speak out about it.
ExxonMobil ranks in the top 10 in the world in the S&P 500 ESG Index, while Tesla didn’t make it! ESG is a scam. It was used as a weapon by fake social justice fighters.
The fact is that the S&P 500 ESG is an index that takes into account the environmental and social performance of companies. And Musk was obviously hurt that the huge oil company ExxonMobil was on the list, and Tesla was decided to be excluded. And there are even official reasons for the exclusion: Tesla has no strategy to reduce carbon emissions, no code of business conduct, and the company has also been accused of racism and poor working conditions.
But Musk did not stop at one statement.
I’ve voted Democrats in the past because they were (mostly) the goodness party. But they have become a party of division and hatred, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican. Now watch their dirty campaign against me unfold
This is a much more serious statement, since many of Musk’s supporters are his supporters precisely because of his political views. Immediately, Musk made it clear that he changed them. This has already cost Tesla about $40 billion in capitalization, as the company’s shares fell immediately after the publication of its head.
