Huami Technology, a well-known contract manufacturer of Xiaomi Mi Band fitness bracelets, held a full presentation of fully wireless headphones under its own brand – Amazfit PowerBuds Pro.
Amazfit PowerBuds Pro is positioned by the manufacturer as the world’s first TWS headphones that track and help maintain good posture. For this, an accelerometer is used. Headphones will be able to track the movements of the neck, if the neck has remained motionless for a long time, the user will receive a reminder with the urge to warm up. In this way, the user can avoid cervical spondylosis caused by a sedentary lifestyle.
PowerBuds Pro track your heart rate – a feature we’ve come to expect from smartwatches, not headphones. Also, headphones will take on a number of other tasks of smartwatches and bracelets, including tracking speed, distance traveled and other parameters during physical activity.
The earbuds themselves offer features such as 40 dB active noise cancellation, various noise canceling modes, including audio transparency mode, battery life up to 9 hours without recharging and up to 30 hours when recharging from the case. Sales of Amazfit PowerBuds Pro in China will begin today at a temporarily reduced price of $ 139, subsequently the price will rise to $ 155.
Huawei has sold over 80 million smartwatches, bracelets and headphones worldwide
Huawei today shared its new achievement at the ongoing Huawei Developer Conference 2021 (Together). The total shipments of Huawei smart wearables exceeded 80 million units, according to one of the top managers of the consumer division of Huawei Consumer.
More specifically, as of September 2021, Huawei has sold over 80 million smartwatches, fitness bracelets and audio accessories worldwide.
It is also noted that Huawei devices are already used by more than 320 million users around the world. In addition, the Huawei Health app for sports and health is used by 83 million people every month.
At the same time, the proprietary operating system HarmonyOS is already installed on 157 million devices.
AirPods Pro 2 showed on renders. The headphones will remain virtually unchanged, but the charging case will receive built-in speakers.
A source specializing in leaks about various Apple devices has published renders of possible Air Pods Pro 2 headphones. The person who merged the pictures said that they were obtained from “a source within Apple”, but without any specifics on this score. But if AirPods Pro 2 really will be as shown in the images, then we will have the usual shape of the headphones themselves and a modernized case.
There are various rumors regarding the design of AirPods Pro 2: some sources say that there will be no legs, others believe that it will still remain. The leg is present on these renders. And if you consider what the AirPods 3 turned out to be like, it is likely that the current form of Pro headphones will still remain. But one optical sensor has disappeared, but this is not surprising, since in AirPods 3 Apple switched to sensors that detect skin contact. And the same can happen with AirPods Pro 2.
More innovations in the charging case: on the underside of it there are loudspeaker slots. According to an insider, in iOS 16, the Find My function can be applied both to the headphones themselves and to the case. And this is exactly what loudspeakers are for: if the user cannot remember where he put the case, it will be possible to use Find My – and the charging box will start emitting sounds by which it will be possible to determine its location.
Interestingly, on the side edge of the case, there is a metal fastener for the lanyard, which is not in any case of any Apple wireless headphones. And at the moment there are big doubts that it will appear in the production model. There is no specifics regarding the release dates for AirPods 2 Pro, but it is logical to expect a new product as early as next year.
Huawei Unveils Active Noise Canceling Fashion Headphones – FreeBuds Lipstick styled like lipstick
Huawei has introduced an unusual fully wireless Huawei FreeBuds Lipstick in Europe.
The name of the model is quite consistent with reality – the headphones themselves are made in bright red, and the charging case is stylized as a tube of lipstick, and made of stainless steel.
According to the technical characteristics, Huawei FreeBuds Lipstick corresponds to the already familiar FreeBuds 4 model (review) – active noise reduction, up to 24 hours of battery life (including the case), touch control, support for Bluetooth 5.2, 14.3 mm emitters, protection against moisture (IPX4).
Huawei plans to release a limited edition FreeBuds Lipstick at a price of 249 euros, they will be delivered in a specially designed box. This is almost double the price of FreeBuds 4, which are offered for 129 euros.
