Poor battery life, Wear OS, and high price tag. Google Pixel smartwatch will still be released next year
Looks like Google will finally release their own smartwatch. After a series of annual rumors, data emerged that the announcement of the device is scheduled for 2022.
The device’s codename is Rohan. At the same time, it is not yet clear whether the watch will be called the Pixel Watch, although this is the most logical option at first glance. It is also reported that the watch will not be cheap and will compete with the Apple Watch.
In addition, the source talks about integrating Fitbit features into the Wear OS that the watch will run on. This aspect was called Nightlight. As a reminder, Fitbit is now owned by Google.
It is also known about the round display, the absence of a physical frame, which may hint at a rounded glass, and the need to charge the watch every day, that is, the novelty cannot boast of autonomy, but in general this is true for most full-fledged smartwatches on the market.

The narrowed frame of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max was shown in the photo of protective glasses

A well-known insider under the nickname Ice Universe published photos of protective glasses for smartphones of the iPhone 15 line on his Weibo page.
The photo appears to show glass for the iPhone 15 with a wider bezel, and for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max with a narrower bezel.
The iPhone 15 Pro, the leader of smartphones, continues to narrow the bezel, and the ridiculous defenders of Samsung continue to defend the huge bezel of Samsung smartphones. That’s funny.

The iPhone 15 line of smartphones should be presented in September this year. All models should get a Dynamic Island cutout, USB-C is expected in older models.
Ice Universe was the first to accurately talk about the new trend for smartphones with waterfall screens, about the notch in the iPhone X, about the new design of the iPhone 14 with a Dynamic Island cutout, and about different 200-megapixel image sensors.

ChatGPT added to smart watches: Amazfit did it

Amazfit, a well-known global smart wearable brand owned by Zepp Health, has announced the release of a new version of the Zepp OS operating system for smartwatches. The main innovation in it was the integration of the ChatGPT language model created by OpenAI.
To work with the neural network, a separate dial with a chat is used, where you can communicate with ChatGPT. The system answers questions and performs actions on command. If the user asks how his day went, then the chatbot gives a multiple “squeeze” of data for this period.
Similarly, the user can get answers to questions about the weather, traffic, date and time in different cities, find out data from the Internet, and so on.
Note that no company currently offers this, that is, Amazfit has shrunk to create something new. Although, for sure, a lot of imitators will appear in the near future, but so far neither Samsung nor Apple have offered anything similar.
Earlier it was reported that in Hong Kong they want to create an analogue of ChatGPT.

Will Samsung’s new smartwatches be even more autonomous? Galaxy Watch6 batteries have more capacity than corresponding Watch5 versions

It looks like Samsung wants to keep making its smartwatches more and more autonomous. The battery of the Galaxy Watch6 model has been spotted in the base of the South Korean regulator under the catalog numbers SM-R93x and SM-R94x, and its capacity is higher than that of the Watch5.
In the case of the 40 mm model, we are talking about a battery with a capacity of 300 mAh versus 284 mAh for the current generation of watches. The increase is small, but still it takes place. Other things being equal, this may mean slightly better battery life, but we do not yet know the characteristics of the new generation of Samsung watches.
The 44mm version of the Watch6 will also get a larger battery, increasing from the current 410mAh to 425mAh.
There is no data on the Watch6 Pro model yet, and there were no rumors either, so it’s not even clear yet whether it will come out. But Watch5 Pro already has a very large battery (590 mAh).
