Xiaomi sub-brand Poco today unveiled the new budget smartphone Poco M3 with impressive specs and an equally impressive price tag. The smartphone will be available for pre-order from November 27.

The first thing that was said in the presentation about the Poco M3 is a huge 6000 mAh battery with support for 18 W charging.

The smartphone will be able to offer a very long time in multimedia mode, which was demonstrated on the slide:

In addition, the battery will have a lifespan of 1000 recharge cycles at 25 degrees Celsius or 600 cycles at 45 degrees.

The next slide was about the camera in the Poco M3. Unfortunately, early rumors were not confirmed: the smartphone received a main camera module with a resolution of 48 megapixels, a 2 megapixel depth sensor and a 2 megapixel macro module. The presentation also demonstrated the capabilities of the camera and here it cannot be said that the Poco M3 is such a “flagship” in terms of shooting quality among budget smartphones. Still, the photos are pretty good.

As for the Poco M3 display, its diagonal is 6.53 inches. The glass is Corning’s Gorilla Glass solution. The display resolution is 2340 x 1080 pixels (Full HD +).

Rumors about the processor in the Poco M3 have been confirmed – it is Snapdragon 662. In addition to this, the smartphone is equipped with 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. By the way, there will be only one RAM configuration – 4 GB. But the amount of storage will be in two versions: 64 GB and 128 GB. Accordingly, there will be 2 smartphone configurations in total: 4 + 64 GB and 4 + 128 GB. The novelty will support 2 SIM cards and a memory card for expanding storage.

Finally, affordable colors and prices. The Poco M3 will be available in black, yellow and blue.

The price for the 4 + 64 configuration will be only $ 149, and for the additional 64 GB of internal storage you will have to pay $ 20 extra. Also, as part of the upcoming Black Friday sale, the Poco M3 will be offered for $ 129 in 4 + 64GB configuration and for $ 149 in 4 + 128GB configuration on Amazon, AliExpress, Lazada and Mi.com. After Black Friday, the smartphone will be available at other retail sites, but the exact date of receipt was not announced during the presentation.
