Photorealistic graphics in games are only about 10 years away

Strauss Zelnick, head of major publishing house Take-Two Interactive, said during his speech at the online conference UBS Global TMT that photorealistic graphics in games are only about 10 years away.
He is also confident that all the fun in the video game industry is not in the past, but in the future.
“We are already creating very realistic games. But for now, you can still see that this is animation. I am sure that in 10 years we will be able to get the most realistic picture. We are talking about photorealistic graphics created on a computer. And the visual aspect is just one of many. Thanks to new technologies, a lot of interesting things await us. “
According to Mr. Zelnick, the next 30-40 years will be the most exciting. He talks about the rise of the social dimension in games, as well as mixing gameplay with elements that are familiar to other types of media.
