MMD, which owns the rights to the Philips Monitors brand, has unveiled the Philips 243B9H office monitor. It uses a 23.8-inch, Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) diagonal IPS LCD panel. The screen has an anti-reflective coating and supports a refresh rate of 75 Hz.
In the description of the new product, the presence of a USB-C port is noted, which can be used to transfer data, video signal and up to 65 W of power over the same cable. The monitor has a built-in 3-port USB 3.2 Gen1 hub. In addition, there is one VGA input, DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4, audio input and headphone output.
An interesting feature of the monitor is a retractable 2 megapixel webcam with a microphone, hidden in the upper frame. The camera supports Windows Hello biometric authentication.
The maximum brightness of the screen is declared equal to 250 cd / m22, contrast ratio – 1000: 1, pixel response time – 4 ms, viewing angles – 178 °. The screen covers 90% of the NTSC color space and 104% of the sRGB color space. Taking into account the field of application, the monitor implements a mode with a reduced blue level in the backlight, a flicker-free brightness control and an EasyRead Mode, which reduces eye strain.
The design of the stand allows you to change the height within 150 mm, the angle of rotation within ± 175 °, the angle of inclination within the range from -5 ° to + 30 °, as well as transfer the screen to portrait mode and vice versa. Dimensions with stand are 541 x 522 x 216 mm, weight – 5.44 kg.
