Palit calls GeForce RTX 3060 Ti ColorPOP “first ever” color-changing graphics card
Palit Microsystems has unveiled the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti ColorPOP video card, which the manufacturer himself calls “a delightful work of art.”
A prominent feature on the outside is the glossy metal finish on the cooling system shroud. The Cosmic Latte color chosen for the shroud depends on the lighting conditions and the angle at which the card is viewed. The paint features three basic tones – Chameleon Green, Electric Blue and Ultra Violet, which smoothly replace each other, “creating a shine of bright colors.”
The cooling system hidden under the Palit GeForce RTX 3060 Ti ColorPOP casing is characterized by high efficiency, and at light load, the fans completely stop, making the card virtually silent.
The card is based on a GPU with 4864 CUDA cores. The base frequency of the GPU is 1410 MHz, the increased frequency is 1665 MHz. GDDR6 memory is connected to the GPU using a 256-bit bus. The data transfer rate is 14 Gbps. The memory capacity is 8 GB. The mounting plate contains one HDMI 2.1 output and three DP 1.4a outputs. The video card measures 294 x 112 x 60 mm and is equipped with two eight-pin PCIe additional power connectors. In the case, it occupies 2.7 slots. The power consumption is declared to be 220 W. The manufacturer does not name the price of the novelty.

Nvidia is going to release super-budget GeForce GTX 1630 without support for DLSS and ray tracing

It seems that Nvidia has decided to respond to the very affordable AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT and RX 6400 graphics cards. According to the source, Nvidia will release a GeForce GTX 1630 model that will compete with low-end AMD adapters.
The new product should replace the old one, but still actively sold due to the shortage of the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. It is expected that the novelty will cost $190, that is, it will compete with the RX 6400, which costs $170.
The parameters of the card are unknown, but it is logical to assume the presence of the same TU117 GPU that underlies the GTX 1650. The latter has 865 CUDA cores, so the GTX 1630 may have fewer of them. Also Nvidia can cut the bus to 64-bit. In general, the company has a lot of options for creating new items. The problem is that the RX 6400 already competes quite successfully with the GTX 1650, that is, the less productive GTX 1630 will no longer be able to do this. But Nvidia can take the price, setting it at $150, for example.
At the same time, the new product, of course, will not support DLSS and ray tracing, that is, technologically it will lose both to its older brothers and the same RX 6400. On the other hand, in this segment it is more important to make the card as accessible as possible and at the same time capable of cope with modern games in one form or another.

Nvidia video cards of the new generation are credited with incredible gluttony up to 600 watts of power consumption. True, the latest data allows us to hope that at least the GeForce RTX 4090 will require only 450 watts. But the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti, if it comes out, will obviously consume more.
One would think that a card with such appetites could only have a liquid or, in extreme cases, a hybrid approval, but perhaps an air one would suffice. This is indicated by photos of the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti Founders Edition cooler, which appeared on the Web today.
Without a direct comparison, it is not so easy to estimate the dimensions, but you can still see that the radiator is huge. It’s very big on current top Nvidia cards, but here it’s even bigger.
At the same time, one can only guess whether even such a monstrous CO is enough to cool a card with a consumption of 600 W.
It also cannot be ruled out that this is just one of the prototypes of the cooler, and as a result the card will receive a different CO. Also, it could be a fake. But it is worth remembering that the photos of the GeForce RTX 3080 cooler at one time also appeared long before the announcement of the video cards themselves.

Asus today introduced several new products, including the ROG Strix SCAR 17 SE, one of the company’s most powerful and most expensive laptops. So, it is built on a 16-core Core i9-12950HX processor, the most powerful representative of the Alder Lake-S line.
Recall that the Core i9-12950HX debuted last week. Its configuration includes 8 high-performance cores up to 5 GHz and 8 energy-efficient cores up to 3.6 GHz, as well as 30 MB of L3 cache. There are two options for discrete graphics accelerators: the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory in the base version and the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti with 16 GB of its own memory in the top version. In both cases, the battery capacity was 90 Wh.
There are also two screen options: Full HD with a frame rate of 360 Hz and coverage of 100% of the sRGB color space or QHD with a frame rate of 240 Hz and coverage of 100% of the DCI-P3 color space.
There are two slots for RAM modules, you can install 64 GB of DDR5 memory. There are also two slots for M.2 drives, you can install two 2 TB SSDs. There are also Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6E adapters, HDMI 2.1 video output, RJ-45 network port, USB-C with Thunderbolt 4, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (DisplayPort 1.4/Power Delivery) and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A.
