Oppo Watch 2 Glacier Lake Blue Edition smartwatch unveiled
The Chinese company Oppo has introduced a new version of the Watch 2 smartwatch, called the Oppo Watch 2 Glacier Lake Blue Edition. Oppo’s entry into the smartwatch market began with the first generation Oppo Watch launched in 2020. Last year, the company introduced the second generation Oppo Watch 2 with some improvements in design and internal features.
The Oppo Watch 2 Glacier Lake Blue Edition has several improvements over the Watch 2 it shares a design with. The watch has been optimized for skiers with a built-in new outdoor skiing function and built-in Oppo Health Lab proprietary algorithm, which can accurately record skiing data and provide comprehensive skiing assistance.
In addition, there are improvements to the smart interface that support features such as a quick app and a remote car key. The watch features a 1.91-inch AMOLED 3D Curved screen with an effective area of 72.7%.
In terms of performance, the Oppo Watch 2 series is equipped with dual-core UDDE hybrid technology and Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 single-chip system. The watch allows you to install more than 50 applications, including WeChat Children’s Watch Edition, Alipay, QQ, NetEase Cloud Music, Baidu Maps, QQ Music, The Most Beautiful Weather, Air Travel, Phoenix News. The watch comes with built-in SIM card support.
The Oppo Watch 2 Glacier Lake Blue Edition is priced at around $235.

The rotating bezel, which Samsung removed from the Galaxy Watch 5, will appear in the new watch, according to images of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic shared by a reputable insider OnLeaks.
If the renders are true, then the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will look like the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. The watch is shown in a completely black matte metal case with a silicone bracelet with a magnetic clasp. According to SamMobile, they will get a 1.47-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 470 x 470 pixels.
There are also two buttons on the side that were used for navigation in previous Galaxy Watch models. SamMobile reports that the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will feature the Exynos W980 chipset, which should be about 10% faster than the Exynos W920 used in the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5.
The Galaxy Watch 6 series is expected to provide sleep tracking, body composition analysis, a heart rate sensor, a temperature sensor, GPS, NFC, and a barometer. There are also rumors that the device is equipped with a 425 mAh battery.
The company is expected to unveil the watch at the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is rumored to take place on July 26th.
