Oppo has unveiled the A1 smartphone, which, judging by the description, seems a bit strange. The fact is that it is more expensive than the A1 Pro model, which is clearly better.

Oppo introduced the A1 smartphone, which for some reason is more expensive than the more interesting A1 Pro

According to the Chinese aggregator, the novelty costs from $305, despite the fact that the A1 Pro starts at $255. And the second smartphone is noticeably more interesting.

The base Oppo A1 is based on the same Snapdragon 695 SoC but has an IPS screen instead of AMOLED. In addition, its frame rate is 90Hz versus 120Hz for the A1 Pro. And this is not to mention the fact that the A1 Pro also has a curved display, although not everyone likes it.

The novelty is also equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, 8 or 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of flash memory and a 5000 mAh battery.

It is worth noting that there is no A1 model on the official Oppo website yet, so it is possible that the source simply made a mistake with the price.

However, these are Chinese prices, and in the global market everything is different, since new items are significantly more expensive there.

To start with, the Moto Razr 40 is called the Razr in the global market, and the Moto Razr 40 Ultra is called the Razr Plus.

In the US, apparently, only the latter will be sold at a price of $1,000. In Europe, they will already ask for 1200 euros for it. The base model Razr will be available in select countries in Europe, Latin America, and Asia, but pricing has not yet been announced. It is expected that it will be around 700-800 euros. It’s still cheaper than other similar smartphones, but not as revolutionary as $560.
