Oppo Find N2 presented – it is better than its predecessor in almost everything

Oppo has unveiled the Oppo Find N2 smartphone, which is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, and has received a number of other improvements.

The width of the Oppo Find N2 is 72.6mm when closed (compared to 73mm for the Oppo Find N). The phone weighs just 233g, making it lighter than the iPhone 14 Pro Max at 14.6mm closed and 7.4mm open (compared to its predecessor’s 15.9mm and 8mm).

The second generation Flexion joint has been significantly improved. Firstly, it has fewer parts – 100 instead of 138. Secondly, it uses modern materials such as carbon fiber and high-strength alloy. All this helps to reduce the weight of the phone. The new hinge design also made the crease on the screen less visible. The hinge can hold any angle from 45° to 125°.

The aspect ratio of the external screen is slightly smaller – 17.7:9 (instead of 18:9), the frame has become narrower. The 5.54-inch display now also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Maximum brightness reaches 1350 cd/m2the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

The internal display is 7.1 inches diagonal and has an aspect ratio of 9.6:9. This is an LTPO panel, so its refresh rate can range from 1Hz to 120Hz. Both displays have a touch sampling rate of 480Hz. Peak brightness is 1550 cd/m2. Oppo applied an anti-reflective film to the display to improve the readability of the screen in bright ambient light. Both displays support HDR10+.

Like its predecessor, the Oppo Find N2 offers a triple camera setup as well as two selfie cameras. The main camera has a Sony IMX890, a 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch optical format sensor, which is equipped with a 24mm f/1.8 lens with optical image stabilization. The ultra-wide camera is equipped with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 1/2-inch optical sensor with a 14mm f/2.2 lens. The telephoto lens uses a 32-megapixel IMX709 sensor. Both selfie cameras are 32MP. Camera system developed in collaboration with Hasselblad.

The charging power reaches 67 W, which allows you to charge your smartphone in 42 minutes (the first smartphone was charged in 70 minutes), and in 10 minutes you can recharge by 37%. The battery capacity is 4520 mAh.

Oppo Find N2 is based on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, it is equipped with 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 3.1 flash memory. The phone ships with Android 13 and ColorOS 13 out of the box.
