Opera has released a special crypto-browser
Opera has introduced a new specialized version of the browser. In addition to the standard Opera browser and Opera GX for gamers, a beta version of the “crypto browser” – Opera Web3 with a built-in crypto wallet – is now available.
The Opera Crypto Browser Web3 beta app is available today for Windows, macOS and Android. An iOS version is scheduled for release in the near future.
According to the developers, the new application is aimed at both experienced and novice users of cryptocurrencies, and one of its main tasks is the use of Web3.
With the help of the crypto-browser, Opera plans to make the use of decentralized applications (dapps), games and metaverse platforms easier and more convenient. The browser is equipped with a news and data aggregator called Crypto Corner (“crypto-corner”) with information about crypto-currencies, including the latest events in this area, prices of crypto-assets, commissions. The latest information about thematic events, broadcasts and podcasts is also available in Crypto Corner.
Opera Web3 tools include access to decentralized exchanges, Web3-based NFTs and gaming dapps, as well as built-in support for Telegram and Twitter, which can be accessed directly from the sidebar of the browser. The built-in wallet supports Ethereum in beta, and will become compatible with major blockchain platforms in the future through cooperation with Polygon, Solana, Nervos, Celo, Unstoppable Domains, Handshake, ENS and other companies.
The wallet supports both removable ERC-20 standards and non-removable standards, including ERC-721 and ERC-1155 tokens, which will be available in Q1 2022. It also allows you to purchase cryptocurrencies through the built-in fiat-to-cryptocurrency transfer system, as well as to directly exchange one type of cryptocurrency for another. In addition, users can check their cryptocurrency balance and transaction fees, as well as use the built-in NFT gallery.

Whatsapp allows you to “quietly” leave a group

The WhatsApp team is working on a new feature that will allow users to “silently” leave group chats.
Currently, when someone leaves a group chat, WhatsApp announces it to all members of the group. Now it is impossible to quietly leave the group so that all members do not know about it. But soon this may change.
The thematic resource WABetainfo drew attention to the innovation in the beta version – when a user leaves a group, only group administrators receive a notification. When a group member opts out, a dialog box appears that says “Only you and the group admins will be notified that you have left the group.”

Americans are more satisfied with the old and very primitive LG smartphone than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. ACSI rating published

The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) has published a press release on the satisfaction of Americans with certain brands and devices. In this document, we are most interested in smartphones.
And here the leader was the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. It could be said that this is unexpected, since in the US Samsung is still about half behind Apple in sales, but in fact a year earlier, the Samsung device was also in the lead in a similar list, and two years ago the company’s smartphones occupied all the first three places.
Be that as it may, the flagship of 2020 became the leader, which at the time of release was scolded for various shortcomings and features. Unexpectedly, LG Aristo 3, unknown outside the US, took second place. Moreover, this is a budget smartphone in 2019 on the SoC Snapdragon 425! How he even got on the leaderboard is completely unclear. Closes the top three iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Also on the leaderboard are HTC U12+, Pixel 4 and iPhone XR. In general, the list turned out to be as diverse as possible.
If we talk about brands, here Samsung and Apple share the first line of the rating with 80 points each. The top five also includes Google, Motorola and LG.

The photo allows you to compare the dimensions of all models of the iPhone 14 line and the dimensions of the camera units

A photo of covers allegedly intended for Apple’s new generation smartphones has appeared on the Web. The authenticity of the image cannot be verified, but in general everything looks plausible.
The two larger cases are for iPhone 14 Max and 14 Pro Max. The other two are made for the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro.
The difference in camera cutouts indicates that the lower models are likely to retain the two-sensor configuration, while the older ones will get three. At the same time, if we compare these cases with cases for current models, it becomes clear that the dimensions of the camera blocks will grow again, which allows us to hope for even better photos and videos. Recall that numerous rumors suggest that the older smartphones of the new generation will receive new 48-megapixel image sensors for the main cameras.
