Open sales of the world’s first smartphone with a subscreen camera started

At the end of last year, outside of China, the first smartphone with a sub-screen front camera was released, which was named ZTE Axon 20 5G. Initially, the smartphone could be purchased by invitation only, but now it is available for public sale in many countries around the world.
The device is available in Midnight Black and Sunrise Yellow colors with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of flash for a price of € 449 / $ 449. You can order a smartphone on the official ZTE website.
The ZTE Axon 20 5G features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, a 6.92-inch Full HD + (2460 x 1080 pixels) OLED screen with an integrated fingerprint reader, a 32MP front camera, and a 64.8 resolution main camera with image sensors , 2 and 2 Mp.
The ZTE Axon 20 5G screen contains seven different layers, including protective glass, polarizer, sealing glass, cathode, OLED, matrix and glass substrate. The manufacturer claims that the device uses third-generation sub-screen camera technology.
The battery has a capacity of 4220 mAh and supports 30 W fast charging. The smartphone runs MiFlavor 10.5 based on the Android 10 operating system.
